Rain Dance

Three weeks since our last rainfall, I am hoping that we can offer prayers for rain as the Georgia governor once did, or do a rain dance or something. I recognize that three weeks without rain does not make this California, but my little plants, normally ready for a soft, wet climate, are a little parched.

So much for a strong finish this year!

  1. We have gone three weeks as well in Owen Sound. The ground in the garden is cracking, it is so dry. Last rain August 29th, the day of my nieces garden wedding!

I sympathise. I really, really do. We seem to be in the same boat because this is our monsoon season when its supposed to rain for 3 whole months non-stop. And it has hardly rained for 10 days 😦
You want a rain dance? We seem to be having rain pujas and rain sacrifices and rain weddings (marrying off a male and female frog … I’m not joking!) but all to no avail. The sky is still a brilliantly bright blue 😦

Well maybe we need some kind of global frog marrying, rain dancing, prayer/sacrifice/puja and we’ll all actually get our much-needed rain! To think that last year we were almost flooded out!
