The Rose Garden of Notre Dame

Rose Garden at Notre Dame

If you happen to be in Paris at the Notre Dame Cathedral, and are in need of some relative peace and quiet, take a short walk outside around the “back” of the cathedral- on the east side of the church, below the famous flying buttresses, is a delightful little rose garden and some other fine, well manicured gardens. It’s worth a short detour for both architecture and garden lovers.

The rose garden is beautiful. Do you think you could do a post about houseplants? I know it’s not gardening, but I could sure you some tips. My plants seem to survive (I think that’s more about Darwin, though), but they don’t always seem happy. Brown and yellow tips and holes, dry leaves fall off, etc. I know this is generic because there are a million house plants, but if you could just throw out some general tips, it’d be much appreciated.
