Paris: live blogging from the Tuileries

The weather here is fantastic…the sun is out, the church bells are ringing, the primroses are in bloom, and February is in fact a gorgeous time to be in Paris. The Tuileries are as well designed as you can imagine, given that they were designed with Catherine de Medici’s budget. Mostly, in February, they are a haven for a rarer flower: Parisian runners. A rarer crop I’ve never seen: the color coordinated pompiers and the woman running in a fisherman’s sweater. Go! It’s worth the stroll between the Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe.
